District 10

This is one of the outer districts of Budapest yet within easy reach of the city centre. In addition to housing estates and former factories, there are suburban and family-run areas. Here you will find Népliget, the largest public park in Budapest where metro M3 has a station. There can be also found the international coach station of Volánbusz and the Groupama Arena along with several modern office centres.

The Örs Vezér square gives home to several bus lines, the M2 metro station and the H8 and H9 suburban railway train stations. The Árkád and Sugar Shopping Center and Cinema, as well as IKEA, are waiting for all passersby wanting to shop or relax. The Metropolitan University and the HUNGEXPO Budapest Convention and Exhibition Center are also nearby.

Another junction at the edge of the district is Kőbánya-Kispest, where the M3 metro line, several bus lines and the railway are also available. After shopping at KÖKI Terminal you can easily reach Ferihegy Airport from here. The Óhegy Park, the playgrounds and sports fields of the Sportliget, and the Újhegyi Swimming Pool and Beach await those who want to enjoy active relaxation, but you can also walk around and feed ducks at the nearby Bánya lake.
