Next to the Ludovika Campus

District IX. is known by many as Ferencváros. Students prefer the neighbourhood due to the proximity of Corvinus University of Budapest, Semmelweis University (SOTE), the National University of Public Service and the largest Szabó Ervin Library in Budapest. 

You can take the metro M3 or M4 at Kalvin Square or walk along Ráday Street, a popular destination for tourists, offering many quality restaurants. Not far from here is the Great Market Hall. A cinema and other restaurants and shops are available at Lurdy House and Corvin Plaza malls. Those interested in culture can attend the plays of the National Theatre or the Palace of Arts (MÜPA) and the concerts of Budapest Park.

For sports enthusiasts, the proximity of the Groupama Arena can also be an aspect. By the way, Népliget is not only accessible by the M3 metro line, but also by coaches (Volánbusz). Because of its modern office buildings, it is also a popular area for multinational and domestic companies.

We can reach the Buda side via three Danube bridges: the Liberty Bridge, the Petőfi Bridge and the Rákóczi Bridge, where the campuses of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the ELTE Faculty of Science await us, just like Kopaszi-gát which is also a popular destination on weekends.
