District 3

The district is home to the ruins of the ancient Roman settlement Aquincum, where an amphitheatre was excavated. This part of the city includes the entire island of Óbuda, which was home to the former Roman governor's palace. Those looking for recreation on the banks of the Danube should not miss the restaurants on the "Római part".

This area could be interesting for students: Óbuda University, Milton Friedman University (formerly Sigismund King University), International Business School (IBS), the Aquincum Institute of Technology (AIT) or the Károli Gáspár Reformed University BTK Institute of Psychology are all in the district.

On Bécsi Road, the Stop Shop and the GOBUDA Mall are waiting for those who wish to relax or wish go to the cinema. The H5 suburban train line takes you all the way to Szentendre, which is a pleasant weekend program. On this road you can find the Omsk Lake and the Lupa Lake as well. The connection to the Pest side is provided by the Árpád Bridge, and further on the M0 by Megyeri Bridge.
