District V. is located in the heart of Budapest. It's a government and business area with many popular office buildings. In this part of the town Deák Ferenc Square can be found, which is the largest public transport hub of the city, where three metro lines meet (M1, M2, M3). Rising above the buildings, the Budapest Eye ferris wheel overlooks the city, including some of the most famous attractions of the area, such as the Parliament and St. Stephen's Basilica.

Váci Street and Vörösmarty Square with its crowded restaurants and elegant shops are a popular destination for tourists. As you take tram 2 or walk along the Danube that borders the district, four bridges cross the river: Liberty Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, Chain Bridge and Margaret Bridge.
For those looking for recreation in the green areas, Liberty Square, Elizabeth Square, Olympia Park, Kossuth Square and Károlyi Garden can provide space for regeneration. The nearest shopping mall is Westend City Center, next to the Western Railway Station, where you can reach the Liszt Ferenc Airport by train or the M3 metro and a transfer.
