District 11. - Újbuda

Perhaps the most emblematic part of the district is Gellert Hill, with Citadel and the Statue of Liberty at the top, which is a favourite destination not only for tourists but also for the proximity to nature and the beautiful panorama. At the bottom of the mountain, the Freedom Bridge crosses the river, where Corvinus University awaits its students on the Pest side.

On the bank of the Danube, we find the campuses of the University of Technology (BME) and then between Petőfi Bridge and Rákóczi Bridge there is the Faculty of Science of ELTE. It is no coincidence that InfoPark has been built next to it, this is a popular location for innovative companies due to the proximity of universities and modern office buildings. The Kopaszi Dam with its restaurants and cafés awaits the area's employees to relax a bit during weekdays, and families on weekends.
